Sanjeeda Sheikh (born 20 December 1984 in Kuwait City, Kuwait[2]) is an Indian television and Bollywood actress[3] best known as the winner of Nach Baliye 3 and for her award winning portrayal of Ayesha, in Kayamath. She spent her childhood and schooling days in Ahmedabad (Gujarat).

Sanjeeda was born on the 20 December 1984 in Kuwait City, Kuwait. She is originally from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. She and her family is settled in Mumbai. Sanjeeda never aspired to be an actor. She came to Mumbai from Ahmedabad to help a friend open a dance school. After a few days in the city, she decided to stay and conduct dance classes in the school. She used to teach fusion dance. She acted in three south Indian films in a span of one and half year; co-incidence brought her to the world of Indian television. Ekta Kapoor spotted her in a party and immediately approached her to act in her television show.
